The roleplays were one of the most valuable aspects of the course. I was not in best spirits prior to my exam as it was my first attempt, did not know what to expect, and so decided to go to her one week prior to exam. Did technical mock with her, understood all shortcomings. Corrected all my silly mistakes which many times goes unnoticed I believe. She & Dr.Mahmoud taught me all possible last minute tricks... Did skilled Osces too prior to exam which really helped me I believe .She always emphasized, “Come what may, u talk like a clinician. U walk in with grace & dignity. Do not stress too much about results (though we all do within)”. I have only done communication osces with her as I felt it right from day one. Her approach to each cases felt sensible, explains so well in live classes. Never bombarded with too many study materials. I had many silly doubts prior to exam which she patiently answered all the time. Always felt at ease in her academy, like family. I am forever grateful for everything u have done for me... The knowledge and dedication of mentors are really too good. There is no words to describe the level of dedication put forwards by Dr Lavanika. The communications OSCE sessions are held during evening hours, with mocks going on. It provides a level of confidence to the person preparing. The way she explains the various aspects of each case is a great eye opener for a new person preparing for ADC. The skilled and technical session are held at the academy. It really well equipped and each candidate gets individual attention. I was able to learn a lot of things more than what i learned at dental school. Sometimes I had wished that it would be great to study the whole dentistry under people like them. Dr Mehmud took his time in evaluating and giving necessary correction and suggestions. Dr Lavanika and her team is doing an incredible join which words cant explain. We can easily see that, she doesn’t run this place for making money, it’s just fuelled by her passion and determination. I just had my Technical and Skilled OSCE courses with this lovely Academy and I already miss them! Literally Dr Mahmoud and Dr Lavanika did a great job and put so much effort explaining to us every tips and tricks about ADC! I feel so confident to start practicing on my home and I hope this will be the case for everyone else who wants or already joined their Academy. I Highly recommend them. I had no issue practicing in their chairs as a left handed dentist, and I got the same attention and care as everyone else. We practiced almost all the tasks needed. Last day of the course they welcomed my small family with love and big hugs. The Academy has a very wonderful, welcoming and professional atmosphere. Ps, I had my communication OSCE with Dr Lavanika too and I trust her as my mentor.

A tribute to a great mentor My dearest Dr Lavanika, I was able to clear my ADC part 2 exam in my first attempt. Throughout the journey the biggest challenge I faced was the communication osce. I never had much trouble with my technicals. Dr Lavanika’s teaching and approach is excellent. I always had faith in her and followed her 100%. I couldn’t read much at all since I was a full time clinician till very close to the exam. Everything I grasped for communication osces were purely from Dr Lavanika and TG. She doesn’t just teach she just makes a new person out of you when it comes to communication. And also she has a very sweet voice i never got tired of listening to her. Dr Lavanika is the best mentor for adc part 2. I did communication course and Work under supervision with Dr Lavanika before my exam this time. I am pretty sure that helped me to clear Adc part 2. Dr Lavanika’s communication materials, explanations are unique, that can help you to stand different from the rest. What I liked the most in her communication course, all the important points, even short forms or formulas she will give and make sure we develop our own style in communication rather than sharing a same script to all. She is the one who take the classes and roleplays, by this way she knows where we are and how we can improve. WUS sessions in Dr Lavanika’s academy made me confident in technical tasks and skilled OSCEs. Her feed backs about the technical tasks and skilled osce demonstrations in detail about every task helped me to clear.
